COMMENT

You’ll notice a few changes in this month’s Beauty Zambia. We’ve done some redesigning to improve the layout of the magazine and make it look even more attractive!
Change is a continuous process for all of us. Our surroundings change every day, and so do we, or at least we should.
Adapting to our environment is one of the things that makes us strong. Indeed in nature it’s a case of adapt or die - survival of the fittest in its purest form.
Mirriam Jaulani is someone who’s shown a remarkable ability to adapt to her new surroundings. One minute she was living a quiet life in Chilanga, the next she was strutting the catwalks of Johannesburg – that’s one enormous change!
We all like to keep abreast of the latest fashions; changing your look or hairstyle can give you a real lift, improving your confidence and making you feel gorgeous. Turn to our fashion pages for hints on the latest look, and follow our new hair expert as he tackles your hair problems over the coming months.
Of course change isn’t always for the good, and Dr Petra tries to help as you grapple with new and difficult challenges.
At Beauty Zambia we like to look on the positive side of change though. Whatever happens, there’s always experience to be gained, which will ultimately lead to new and exciting paths.
Embrace change – it makes life so much more interesting …
All the Best,
Gillian Baker, Publisher

Dear Editor,
Your magazine is very good. The first time I thought it was a South African magazine. I will love the magazine so much if:
1. You cover rural women as well
1. Cover health problems of women, eg period pains
Us husbands can learn from your magazine. I love success stories of our women.
BEAUTY IS TRULY A BEAUTY
Thanks
GOSSIP
Dear Sir/madam,
God Bless your Work
I am very happy for the work you are doing. Congratulations beauty magazine. In my business I seek first to understand, then to be understood; Emotional bank account. I was reading this book a long time ago, 1001, but I can still recall the seven habits and always thank God. In the same book there is a saying about being unkind, breaking a promise and gossiping. The thing I hate in life is gossiping. I always tell my family I can’t live without you Lord. I am proud to be a Zambian. One Zambia, One Nation.
Yours
JS Mulenga, Ndola
NICE
Dear Editor,
I am one of your regular readers of Beauty magazine and I just thought I should appreciate your efforts.
It’s a nice piece of work, but I think you can still do better. It’s too short that you are on the last page before you know it.
You can add more interesting stories like when you feature a star, you should put more words instead of pictures only. I mean those stars you feature on musical concerts.
Otherwise, keep it up. I’ll continue buying your magazine.
Regular Reader,
Bertha N.
