Cynthia named Miss Earth
Former Miss Zambia Cynthia Kanema has been picked to represent Zambia at the Miss Earth 1005 pageant in the Philippines in October. She will be accompanied by runners up, Siphiwe Mutale Benasho who is Miss Air; Pauline Mwikisa, Miss Water; and Mwaba Foster Chewe as Miss Fire.
“We are confident that Cynthia is the ideal candidate to represent Zambia. Cynthia is intelligent, articulate, talented and a quick learner. In addition to her extensive exposure and experience in the beauty industry, Cynthia holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Land Economy, which makes her the perfect candidate for the Miss Earth Pageant,” says Justina Mutale of organisers Perryfield Promotions.
The event is sponsored by the Zambia National Tourist Board, Hotel Intercontinental, Grandad, MNET and Multichoice.
