An education committee has been constituted by the Council of the Zambia Institute of Marketing, tasked with developing and establishing a formidable Zambia Institute of Marketing diploma qualification to be run, examined and certified by the institute.
The idea is for the qualification to be similar to that issued by other sister professional bodies like the Zambia Institute of Financial and Banking Services, Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA), which run their own professional qualifications in their respective areas of specialisation.
The Copperbelt University, Evelyn Hone College, Zambia Institute of Management, Zambia Insurance Business College Trust, ZAMTEL Staff Training College, NIEC School of Business Management, National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA), TEVETA and the Examinations Council of Zambia are members of the education committee. This committee is already fully operational.
