Angela Mulenga is 20-years-old and designs under her Queens Wear label. She has been sketching fashion designs since the age of ten and has been designing clothes commercially for four years. Her main source of inspiration comes from her mum, the late Trust Mulenga, a professional designer who built up a college of fashion and a design business that was later taken over by Angela.

After finishing school Angela studied business administration and started designing, along with her aunt.  “I hope to inspire my fellow young people and to encourage them to take up big roles and stand out, because I believe that young people have so much influence. At my age I have done things that older people can only dream of, I believe it’s all through hard work, focus and determination.

She has applied to study fashion at Milan fashion campus in Italy and intends to study fashion at its best, and to see her work on the international market. She also thanks her dad for all his support.
