Petros is a Zambia-based designer working under his PG label.

He grew up in Zambia and studied fashion short courses in the UK at St Martin’s College. He completed a certificate course in fashion design at the Haute Couture School of Fashion Design in Cape Town.

He started organising fashion shows in high school to raise money for the student council. He showcased his designs at Zambia Fashion Week for the first time in 2007, then in 2008. His PG label was launched in Lusaka in 2007.

He describes his designs as “edgy, modern, innovative and vibrant” and is inspired by nature, history and culture.

The theme for his collection this year is definitely about bright colours the eighties glamour. With a sporty feel culminating in modern elegance. The accessories are African inspired, the hats are wild, and the hair and make-up follow suit.

He loves to mix materials using hessian, nylon, lycra, satins, cottons, laces, feathers, tulle and many others.
