Fly to friends, family or school on Air Canada with Emirates
Lusaka, Zambia: December 19, 2022 – Customers of Emirates now have access to Air Canada’s vast network across North America through a codeshare partnership that was activated earlier this year. Emirates customers in Zambia can now book flights to visit friends and family in cities beyond Toronto, including Calgary, Edmonton, Halifax, Montreal, Ottawa and Vancouver.
Expanding on the codeshare partnership, Emirates and Air Canada have agreed to offer joint loyalty programme benefits to their frequent flyers. Emirates Skywards members can now earn and redeem Miles on all flights operated by Air Canada. This strategic partnership ensures seamless connectivity across North America, Asia, the Middle East and Africa, making visiting family, travelling for school or doing business that much easier.
In addition to increased access to Air Canada’s network of over 220 destinations worldwide, Emirates Skywards Platinum and Gold members travelling in Economy Class with Air Canada or Emirates will also enjoy complimentary access to Air Canada’s Maple Leaf Lounges and Air Canada Café at Toronto Pearson Airport, along with one guest.
Air Canada’s customers will also benefit from seamless access to Emirates’ extensive network via Dubai, unlocking a significant number of destinations, including Colombo, Dhaka, Karachi and Lahore in the Indian subcontinent, Southeast Asian cities such as Bangkok, Hanoi, Phuket, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore; Middle Eastern cities Jeddah and Muscat; as well as destinations in Africa.
Now, passengers can board any of these two carriers and book their next vacation or business trip accordingly.
