MOSI DAY OF THUNDER ‘25 COUNTDOWN BEGINS
Zambian Breweries Unleashes an Electrifying Lineup of Experiences

LUSAKA, ZAMBIA – The countdown to Zambia’s most electrifying music festival has begun! Zambian Breweries has gone live with the Mosi Day of Thunder 2025 campaign, setting the stage for the highly anticipated 8th edition of Mosi DOT, scheduled for Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Busiku Grounds in Livingstone.
As excitement builds, Zambia’s brewing giant is rolling out a trio of thrilling experiences designed to get music lovers hyped up ahead of the big day.
Thunder Mashups – Fans Take the Lead in Crafting Music Magic
Mosi exists to bring Zambians together, and this year, the festival is turning up the volume by blending distinct musical styles; just as Mosi beer is crafted from homegrown ingredients to create something truly Zambian.
With Thunder Mashups, fans get the chance to shake up the festival’s lineup by pairing their favourite local artists for never-before-seen collaborations, set to be performed live at Mosi Day of Thunder 2025!
Eight of Zambia’s iconic stars have been shortlisted for this electrifying challenge; Towela Kaira, Xaven, Vinchenzo, Jae Cash, Triple M, 76 Drums, Chanda Na Kay and JC Kalinks. Music lovers can vote for their dream mashups on www.mosithunder.com. The four most-voted pairings will then hit the studio in April to record and produce new music, amplifying excitement in the lead-up to the festival.
The Mosi DOT Experience – A Dream Trip to Livingstone
The Mosi-oa-Tunya falls in Livngstone is the inspiration for and beating heart of the iconic Mosi beer and its legendary thunder, and Zambian Breweries is giving lucky consumers the chance to experience it all in style!
By purchasing any three Mosi beers at participating outlets, consumers stand a chance to win an all-expenses-paid trip to Livingstone for a truly Mosi weekend packed with exciting activities and an exclusive MDOT experience.
This golden opportunity ensures that more Zambians; especially those that have never attended Mosi DOT, visited Livingstone, nor seen the mighty Mosi-oa-Tunya Falls, get to be a part of this epic celebration.
Introducing the Mosi Light “LIGHT UP Zone”
New to the Mosi DOT experience, the ultra-refreshing Mosi Light is bringing an amped-up party experience with the LIGHT UP Zone; a second stage dedicated entirely to high-energy DJ performances.
This second stage will feature an all-DJ lineup, offering a high- energy experience tailored to festival goers who love non-stop beats and electrifying performances. The stage will showcase six local DJs and one regional DJ, promising an unforgettable party atmosphere.
“Mosi Day of Thunder is a movement that celebrates Zambian music culture, and identity. With the introduction of Thunder Mashups, the Mosi DOT experience, and the LIGHT UP Zone, Zambian Breweries is taking the 2025 edition to new heights. We can’t wait to bring Zambians together for a truly thunderous experience,” said Zambian Breweries Country Head of Marketing, Susan Luneta.
