Emirates Brings the NBA Fare to the Skies with Themed Inflight Menu to Celebrate the highly-anticipated Emirates NBA Cup
New York, US – 8th December 2025: Emirates, the Official Global Airline Partner of the NBA, will be offering a special NBA themed menu, complete with dishes and drinks, alongside live NBA matches on its all its flights to the U.S. and Canada, till 16th December. The special offerings onboard Emirates flights celebrate the Emirates NBA Cup which culminates with the Championship on 16 December.
Premium Economy and Economy Class customers will step aboard to find an NBA-themed cabin featuring co-branded headrests and custom coasters for their beverages. The menu showcases classic match night favourites, from themed pizzas and gourmet sandwiches to indulgent desserts like salted caramel milk cake and chocolate cookie sandwiches.
Business Class customers can savour elevated versions of traditional game day fare, including crispy chicken tenders with buffalo sauce, macaroni and cheese with popcorn, alongside a selection of bistro bites, mini pastries and mini cupcakes topped with NBA chocolate discs. Dishes will be complemented with signature NBA-inspired beverages, including the Rookie Rush cocktail.
Customers visiting the First Class Lounge in Dubai are in for a treat and can indulge in NBA Signature Wagyu Burgers with Rocca leaves, pear and bacon jam, served with fries and salad. The experience is complemented by themed cocktails such as the Pick and Roll, as well as the Step Back Cooler mocktail. Dessert highlights include Passion Fruit Tart, a milk chocolate and coconut sphere, and pistachio éclairs. Onboard, First Class passengers will also be offered an array of premium snacks, including smoked beef and fontina cheese on a bagel, white panini with mozzarella and pesto mayonnaise, chicken schnitzel with sweetcorn salad in a chia twisted roll, and a vegan burrito in a grilled tortilla.
Customers travelling in premium cabins on the airline’s iconic A380, can socialise at the Onboard Lounge and continue the celebration with a spread of NBA bistro bites. Sweet options such as lemon and orange bundt cake are set to add a finishing touch to the inflight experience.
In all cabins passengers can join the excitement of the tournament while watching the matches live on Sport 24 and Sport 24 Extra.
The limited-time NBA menu demonstrates how Emirates brings people together around their shared passion for sports. The Emirates NBA onboard experience is available on services to 12 points in the U.S. including New York JFK, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Boston, Houston, Chicago, Washington D.C., Seattle, Newark, Dallas, Miami and Orlando, as well as Toronto and Montreal.
