Zambia’s aviation sector will take centre stage in October when Proflight Zambia co-hosts the 55th Annual General Assembly (AGA) of the Airlines Association of Southern Africa (AASA), scheduled for 16th to 19th October 2025 at CIELA Resort in Lusaka.

The premier aviation event is expected to draw more than 250 delegates, including airline executives, regulators, policymakers, and tourism stakeholders from across the region. The 2025 AGA, themed “Believe, Stop, Improve”, will tackle critical issues shaping the sector, including competitiveness, sustainability, connectivity, route development, digitalisation, inclusivity, skills development, and regulatory standardisation.
